For over 80 years, Merle Hayden crusaded to recruit members to the utopian movement Lawsonomy, founded in the early 1900s by Alfred Lawson, inventor of the first US passenger airliner. Merle’s life-long sweetheart, non-member Betty Kasch, is tired of Lawson coming between them.
